Lindsey Wilkes incorporated GENed Foundation in February of 2007 and began educating students about genocide and Darfur shortly thereafter. Since then, she has spoken to thousands of people at universities, churches and civic organizations. Also in 2007, Lindsey co-founded the Darfur Action Group of SC and now serves on the Board of Directors. As part of her Carl Wilkens Fellowship, Lindsey empowered her Key West community to build relationships with its Members of Congress and recently has begun to develop an engaged constituency on the campus of the University of Cincinnati School of Law.
