Kim Klett is an English teacher at Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona, where she teaches A.P. Literature and Holocaust Literature. Kim is also a Regional Educator for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, conducting workshops for teachers throughout the Southwest region. Megan O’Connor has worked with several resettlement organizations in Arizona providing services and advocating for refugees coming from war-torn countries worldwide. Currently, Megan is the Director of The Welcome to America Project, which creates community connections and builds bridges of neighborly understanding by providing furniture, basic necessities, education, and additional resources to newly arriving refugees.
